Salted Caramel Chocolate Pretzels Recipe
Ingredients
- 12 ounces milk chocolate chips
- 12 ounces caramel
- Flaked Sea salt
- Two dozen tiny twist pretzels
Supplies
- Parchment paper
- Melting pot
- Microwave safe bowl
- Baking sheet
Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Set melting pot to medium high heat and add milk chocolate chips. Stir occasionally until completely melted. Reduce melting pot to warm once the chocolate has been completely melted.
Place caramels in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for ten seconds at a time. Drop pretzels into melted caramel, only cover the one side of the pretzel in caramel before carefully removing from hot caramel.
Lay your pretzel out on the parchment paper, caramel side up till caramel stiffens.
Drop each pretzel face down into melted milk chocolate, completely cover up the caramel. Pull pretzels out of the chocolate melting pot and place them back onto the parchment paper. Before the chocolate begins to harden sprinkle with sea salt.
Allow the pretzels to harden, it takes around 5 minutes. Peel pretzels away from parchment paper and store in an airtight container.
